I was born in Kalibo, Aklan, Philippines. I am the 3rd of five sons of Mr. Nello and Agnes Cheng. I started drawing since I was in Grade 1. I developed my sketching skills to drawing portraits of people. Since this is the age of new technology, I then taught myself to do vectors, photo-manipulation, digital painting so as to keep advancing with the times.

I want to be acknowledged as an artist. I want my works to inspire other aspiring artists. I have not taken any training or attended any seminars about art. I want to let young artists know that, we have to strive hard and keep on practicing so that our skill grow. I don't call myself an expert or pro. I have a lot to learn. That's why I keep on practicing.

I used to keep my art for myself. But I realized that art is meant to be shared and to inspire.
